Can acupuncture actually help your eyesight? In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Nam Lee to talk about how Traditional Chinese Medicine can support our eye health.
Dr. Lee has spent decades helping her patients improve vision through acupuncture, acupressure, and functional medicine. She's trained in specialized systems like MA48 and Acunova Microsystems, and she's passionate about combining ancient wisdom with modern science. She's also big on giving you practical things you can do at home, no acupuncturist required.
We get into the bigger picture too. Can your eyes reveal what's happening in the rest of your body? What do stress, sleep, and blood sugar have to do with your vision? And what's one simple habit you can start today to protect your eyesight for years to come?
Whether you're curious about Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture or just looking for natural ways to support your eyesight, this conversation is full of practical, easy to apply wisdom.

In this class series, participants listen to a story while palming, then explore its symbolism and relevance to vision. The work draws on imagination, right-brain awareness, and depth psychology as part of a natural vision improvement approach.
Stories are used here as a way of awakening visual capacity through image, feeling, symbolism, and perspective. The classes invite a slower and more reflective approach to vision, including the relation between seeing, being seen, and inner knowing.
Everyone is welcome. No prior knowledge of the Bates Method is required.

Eyesight is a learned process which depends on internal reflexes and external stimuli. It depends on a weaving of inner and outer experiences. Eyesight needs the electromagnetic energy of light from the sun and physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual awareness. A dynamic relating of all these elements permeates healthy vision.
In the Embodied Vision Bates Method Practitioner Programme we explore and engage with all these aspects of vision through supported experiential study.
5 day in person modules
Each module weaves in the essential elements of light, rest, movement, memory and imagination. Through practical sessions students work with each other and as a group to learn how to teach Bates Method Vision Education.
The modules also provide:
a supportive space to explore your own eyesight
professional awareness of vision and Vision Education practices
clinical experience
in person experience for teachers who have learned online
The modules can be taken separately but also layer together, in any order, to form a complete professional training with over 200 hours of contact time. Students who successfully complete all six modules and the homework requirements will become certified Bates Vision Education teachers.

Join Maurizio Cagnoli for an in-person Natural Vision workshop in Palma de Mallorca. The workshop explores how changing habitual ways of using the eyes can support clearer and more comfortable vision.
Through practical activities, participants will examine less helpful visual habits and explore more positive and natural alternatives. The work is designed to be experienced directly during the workshop rather than approached only as theory.
What if you could speak directly with your eyes? This two-day experiential training explores the inner and emotional aspects of eyesight and direct dialogue with the eyes.
For two full days in Prague, participants explore the emotional and inner layers of eyesight through Eye Soul – a method developed by Anat Axelrode that combines natural vision improvement, emotional work, Nonviolent Communication, and structured inner dialogue with the eyes.
What you will learn
how to approach the eyes as relational partners rather than mechanical organs
how inner narratives and emotional patterns shape the way we see
how to observe guided conversations with the eyes and practise repeatable exercises
how eyesight connects with attention, safety, belonging, and identity
For practitioners and individuals
The training is designed for vision educators, therapists, and individuals who sense that eyesight is not only optical, but also expressive and relational. It combines theory, live demonstrations, and guided hands-on practice.

About Anat Axelrode: founder of the Eye Soul method and author of Heal Your Soul, Heal Your Sight. She has trained vision educators in Israel and internationally for more than two decades.
This year-long international training programme brings together two complementary approaches to supporting children’s vision. It combines practical vision work directly with children and separate, in-depth emotional work with their parents.
Fernanda Leite Ribeiro
Fernanda Leite Ribeiro leads the physical and practical component, covering visual development, practical vision exercises, eye pathologies and binocular vision challenges. The work focuses on selecting appropriate tools for each child’s particular visual needs.
Anat Axelrode
Anat Axelrode leads the emotional component, exploring the child’s expression of difficulty, family and intergenerational patterns, and ways in which parents can support change within the home environment.
The programme is intended for vision educators and practitioners who wish to develop an integrated approach to working with children and their families. Registration is now open for candidate interviews.
Life is always inviting you somewhere. Small pauses, choices, thoughts, and inner stirrings can shift the trajectory of your life. Doorway Moments is a twice-weekly, watch-anytime offering of story, music, and soulful reflection that helps you slow down enough to hear the invitation and step through. A pause can be a portal.
You know that feeling … when you hear a song that moves you all the way down to your cells? When a poem melts your heart, or even stops it for a moment? When a few simple words come together and rearrange something inside you?
That’s what I hope Doorway Moments brings to you. Not only while watching or listening to each episode, but as a prompt for practicing how to live from that place, more and more often, in the midst of everyday life.
Twice-weekly short video episodes — Watch anytime. No pressure to keep up.
A gentle rhythm that holds your week — New episodes arrive at the beginning and the close of the week: one to help you arrive, one to help you integrate. (Mondays & Fridays)
Music, poetry, story, and reflection woven together — Creating space for insight to arise naturally.
Soulful prompts that invite awareness, not answers — Supporting subtle inner shifts that accumulate over time.
Support for ordinary moments and tender ones alike — From everyday choices to life transitions.
